1. General Overview 

Isuzu 6x4 GIGA trash compactor truck is a heavy-duty sanitation vehicle designed for urban garbage removal. Its working principle is based on an efficient hydraulic drive system and a special mechanism to realize the loading, compression and unloading of garbage.

2. Hydraulic drive system

 Power source: The power of the vehicle engine is transmitted to the oil pump through the power take-off and the transmission shaft, and the oil pump rotates to generate high-pressure oil.

 Multi-way reversing valve: Operate the relevant control switches on the multi-way reversing valve, and the hydraulic oil makes the relevant cylinders work.

 Automatic return: When the multi-way reversing valve handle is not operated, the handle automatically maintains the middle position, and the hydraulic oil discharged by the oil pump returns to the oil tank through the reversing valve.

 Working pressure: The maximum working pressure of the hydraulic system is 16Mpa, which is limited by the overflow valve on the multi-way reversing valve. When the system exceeds 16Mpa, the hydraulic oil flows back to the oil tank through the overflow valve.

3. Garbage filling and compression process

● Loading garbage: Garbage is loaded from the rear entrance of the loading compartment.

● Crushing and compression: The slide plate drives the scraper to move downward together, inserting into the garbage for crushing and initial compression. The scraper rotates forward to further compact the garbage.

● Filling and pushing shovel: After the scraper is in place, it moves upward with the slide plate, compacts the garbage into the garbage bin, and returns to the starting position. Under the action of the extrusion force, the push shovel overcomes the back pressure and gradually retreats, so that the garbage fills the entire garbage bin evenly.

● Closed state: After the garbage truck is full of garbage, the garbage bin is completely closed, and the environment will not be polluted during transportation.

4. Unloading garbage

 Opening and unloading: When the garbage truck unloads garbage at the treatment (or landfill) site, it first lifts the filler and opens the rear end of the garbage bin. The push shovel originally parked at the front end of the garbage bin moves backward and pushes the garbage out of the garbage bin in the horizontal direction.

5. Environmental protection and reliability design

 Environmental protection design: The vehicle is designed with a highly sealed compartment and rear door for the sewage generated after garbage compression, and a large-capacity closed sewage tank is designed to avoid secondary pollution caused by sewage leakage.

 Reliability: Core components such as multi-way reversing valves, hydraulic oil pumps, cylinders, etc. are all well-known brands or first-line brand accessories to ensure the service life and reliability of the vehicle.
